Live Piano Performances
Listen to instrumental piano performances of songs from Mahogany, played as they were originally composed. These recordings focus on the melodies, harmonies, and musical structures of the songs without vocals, offering a chance to experience the compositions in their simplest form.
Mahogany: Live from the Porch
One of the centerpiece performances of the project is a continuous full-album session inspired by the intimacy of a Tiny Desk performance. Unlike the instrumental piano recordings, this session features me singing and playing the songs live from beginning to end.
Recorded on my screened porch, the session brings together all 17 tracks in one sitting, with trees, birds, natural light, and the sounds of the surrounding environment featured as part of the experience. Rather than recreating the album as a highly produced concert, I opted for this performance to feel like being invited to sit with me while I play and sing through the entire album.
